Before I knew it my big kids were home from school, then there was dinner, homework, showers, family home evening, etc., then bed. Aaah!
Luckily, I have the sweetest baby in the world that sleeps through the night (I hope he does it forever!). He's three months old today! That went by so fast! I think my life is easier and better with this little baby guy in our family. I'm so blessed! His little smiles and coos melt my heart.
Today I am going to hit the grocery store, so I had to finish up my menu planning.
Here it is...
Monday: we had meatloaf, baked potato wedges w/homemade ranch dressing, green beans
Tuesday: creamy chicken and wild rice soup, yummy french bread
Wednesday: tinfoil dinners
Thursday: chicken fajitas
Friday: homemade pizza
Saturday: try honey lime tilapia, simple orzo pilaf
Sunday: easy night
One more thing, check out this yummy recipe for Spicy Chicken Pizza Roll by my sister's bestie, Juliann Pelton. She's in the semi-finls in the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest. Exciting! Pop on over and vote for her. Her recipe is near the bottom of the page. I'm excited to try her recipe...looks like something my family would love!
Have a good week! And, as always, feel free to post your menus if you've planned them. (Thanks Julia & Beth!)

Awesome, a personal shout-out in your post! Your blog is why my family eats. Seriously, my menu-planning is lacking until I see your post in my feed reader!
ReplyDeleteM: We had sloppy joes and fries. And ALL of my kids tried something new, and two of them even liked it! (I know; what kids don't like sloppy joes and fries? Answer: my weird, weird kids. But now two of them will eat it, out of three.) (Julia can probably guess which one will NOT eat it still.)
T: chicken enchilada pasta
W: white bean chicken chili or potato soup ... whichever I feel like putting in the crockpot in the morning
Th: pizza
F: sandwiches and/or fast food on the road
Sa and Su: Whatever Julia's making! Woo-hoo!!!!!! (Do something nice and easy, Julia!) :-)
